The Golem of Prague, cast in clay. This largest one is also a candleholder. It holds a tealight inside, and the flame glows through the word emet cut into his chest. In the legend, that word, truth, is what brought the Golem to life when Rabbi Loew shaped him from Vltava mud.
Height 13 cm (5.1 in). Each piece differs slightly in shade, surface and weight.
Every Golem is fired clay from a small pottery workshop near Prague. No resin, no mass-produced casts.
Each batch is cast in plaster moulds and comes out of the kiln a little different. Your Golem will have its own shade, surface and weight. An original.
Made in small batches. Sold out sizes come back after the next firing.
